Incidents

On Sunday, Joleen Kay Ballard, 610 N. 2nd Ave., reported damage to the front bumper on the driver side of a vehicle while parked at her residence. Estimated value of damage was $800.

On Sunday, a person reported for Ecklors Laundromat, 112 N. Center St., damage to a three foot by four foot window. Estimated value of damage was $800.

On Saturday, Areceli Tofolla, 612 E. State St., reported gunshot damage to a window at the residence and an automobile parked at the residence. Estimated value of damage was $700.

On Saturday, an employee with Walmart, 2802 S. Center St., reported the theft of a Poulan Pro weedeater and a Norelco beard trimmer valued at $156.94.

On Friday, Tyler Steven Jacobson, 1506 Kalsem Boulevard, reported the theft of a Specialized Crosstrail Sport 24 speed bicycle from the porch at 111 N. 3rd St. Estimated value of loss was $580.

On Thursday, an employee with Walmart, 2802 S. Center St., reported the theft of a HP computer and a grey storage tote valued at $470.

On Thursday, Terri Lynn Rash, 1006 S. 8th Ave., reported the theft of cash through a scam in the amount of $1,037.75.

On Wednesday, Debra Rae Netolicky, 606 W. Lincolnway, reported the theft of two Fit bicycles and bike tires from her residence. Estimated value of loss was $1,100.

On Wednesday, Jennifer Erin Hernandez, 9 N. 9th Ave., reported damage to the windshield on a 1999 Ford Contour while parked at her residence. Estimated value of damage was $400.

On Sunday, Maik Lira, 504 1/2 N. 1st St., was arrested for driving while barred.

On Saturday, Joel Patrick Lang, 221 Huisman Circle, was arrested for operating while intoxicated, first offense.

On Saturday, Austin Eric Lowell, 607 E. Olive St. Apt. #18, was arrested for public intoxication, spitting in a police vehicle and interference with official acts.

On Saturday, Donald Keith Lunsford, 3202 S. 12th St., was arrested for operating while intoxicated, second offense.

On Saturday, Maria Victoria Lopez, 1108 Iowa Ave. West #25, was arrested for disorderly conduct.

On Saturday, Theresa Ackerman, 311 S. 2nd St. Apt. #5, was arrested for ongoing criminal conduct, forgery, credit card fraud, identity theft and all other larceny.

On Friday, Mark Shearer, 104 E. Lincoln St., was arrested for theft, fifth degree.

On Thursday, Daniel Ceniceros, 1118 May St. Apt. #1, was arrested for animal ordinance violation and violation of a no-contact order.

Accidents

On Sunday, a car driven by Clyde Robert Vokoun, of Montour, was eastbound on West Main Street approaching the intersection with North Third Street when it went into the intersection and collided with a minivan driven by Jessica Lynn Mastin, 108 N. 3rd St., which was traveling south on Third Street. No injuries were reported. Vokoun was cited for failure to obey a stop sign. Damage to the Vokoun car was estimated at $500 while the Mastin minivan received an estimated $1,000 in damage.

On Saturday, a car driven by Jorge Calderon, 506 N. 3rd St., was northbound on North Third Street when in an attempt to turn left into a private driveway it collided with a pickup driven by Tommy James Clark, 409 N. 14th Ave., which was traveling south on Third Street. No injuries were reported. Calderon was cited for failure to yield upon left turn. Damage to the Calderon car was estimated at $1,500 while the Clark pickup received an estimated $200 in damage.

On Saturday, a car driven by Rickey Dustin Hawkins, 3202 S. 12th St. Lot #89, was eastbound on West Iowa Avenue when it attempted to turn left and collided with a vehicle driven by William Robert Jesina, 3111 S. 14th St., which was traveling west on Iowa Avenue. No injuries were reported. Hawkins was cited for failure to yield upon left turn. Damage to the Hawkins car was estimated at $4,000 while the Jesina vehicle received an estimated $2,500 in damage.

On Saturday, a pickup driven by Gerald Lavern Roll Jr., 509 E. Church St., was eastbound on Linn Street approaching the middle of the block between Third and Fourth Avenues when a bicycle ridden by Francisco Padilla, of Nevada, exited the alleyway without stopping and the Roll pickup was unable to stop and struck the cyclist. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Roll pickup was estimated at $300.

On Friday, a vehicle driven by Kelli Jean Hellberg, of Gilman, was eastbound on Riverside Street when, in an attempt to turn left, it collided with a minivan driven by Ivan Marroquin Perez, 604 N. 3rd St., which was traveling west through the intersection on a green light. No injuries were reported. Hellberg was cited for failure to yield upon left turn. Damage to both vehicles were estimated at $1,500 each.

On Friday, a car driven by Rachel Esther Paul, of Laurel, was westbound on East Church Street when it attempted to turn left from the outside lane into the path of a vehicle driven by Ashley Marie Yoemans, 1760 Jessup Ave., which was also traveling west and the two collided in the intersection. No injuries were reported. Paul was cited for turning from improper lane. Damage to the Paul car was estimated at $2,000 while the Yoemans vehicle received an estimated $1,000 in damage.

On Saturday, a minivan driven by Sierra Paige Janssen, 8 E. Olive St., was northbound in the 1700 block of South Third Avenue when, due to the driver dropping a cell phone, it went out of control, left the traveled portion of the roadway and struck a chain link fence belonging to John Kevin Allen, 216 Rainbow Dr. No injuries were reported. Janssen was cited for striking fixtures. Damage to the Janssen minivan was estimated at $3,500 while the Allen chain link fence received an estimated $2,000 in damage.
