GILMAN - Dakotah Wolken finished 4-for-4 as East Marshall moved past AGWSR 14-3 in a five-inning NICL West baseball game on Friday.

Wolken scored three runs on a night that saw his season batting average move to .571.

East Marshall (13-6, 6-1) put the contest out of reach with a seven-run fourth inning. The big hit of the frame was an inside-the-park grand slam by Wolken. The senior's drive to center field eluded a diving AGWSR defender and the Mustangs cleared the bases.

Josh Wilson had a 2-for-3 night with two runs scored, a double and two RBIs. John Bloom added two hits, while Dalton Beadle had a hit and RBI.

Jake Weatherman was the winning pitcher, allowing three runs on five hits in three innings.

Tyler Groninga and Clayton Bohner both had two hits apiece for the Cougars (0-9, 0-8).

East Marshall, which came into the night tied for the conference lead with South Tama, travels to Tama for a doubleheader with the Trojans on Monday.

AGWSR goes to the Times-Citizen Classic today in Iowa Falls.
