On Monday, an employee at Franklin School, 1315 W. Main St., reported damage to a second floor window at the school. Estimated value of damage was $800.
On Monday, Gonzalo Avalos, 2513 Reyclif Dr., reported hit and run damage to a 1993 Honda Accord while parked at 500 E. State St. Estimated value of damage was $1,000.
On June 7, an employee at Git 'N Go, 3302 S. Center St., reported employee theft of cash in the amount of $513.
On Tuesday, Karen Sanchez, 503 N. 1st Ave. (Half), reported the theft of a T-Mobile smartphone and an IPod from her bag at the Aquatic Center. Estimated value of loss was $500.
On May 14, Jennifer Ann Richey, 403 S. 2nd St., was cited for theft, third degree from 3302 S. Center St.
On Monday, Michelle Marie Grommet, 1101 S. 3rd Ave., was cited for theft, fifth degree from Walmart.
On Monday, Fernando Carrillo Robles, 602 E. Anson St., was cited for theft, fifth degree from Walmart.
On Monday, Maria Perez Busani, 1301 1/2 E. Boone St., was arrested for operating while intoxicated.
On June 10, Nancy Abigail Avila, 3 N. 4th St. Apt. #1, was arrested for violation of a no-contact order.
On Tuesday, Kathleen Amber Dolan, 1906 Summit St., was arrested for aggravated domestic assault (enhanced) and two counts of child endangerment without injury.
On Tuesday, Rock Ray Riedi, 1 W. Grant St. Apt. #401, was arrested for violation of a no-contact order.
Grundy County Sheriff's Office
On June 5, a vehicle driven by Donald Welch, age 51, of Camanche, was eastbound on Highway 20 when it struck a deer that entered the traveled portion of the roadway. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Welch vehicle was estimated at $2,000.
On June 4, a car driven by Stanley Marshall, age 86, of Ackley, was westbound on Highway 20 at the Dike on ramp when it swerved to avoid hitting a deer and entered the north ditch where it struck a fence and drug the fence into a grassy field before stopping. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Marshall car was estimated at $4,500.
On June 1, a John Deere tractor pulling a six-row planter behind and driven by Jarrett Stoner, age 14, of Grundy Center, was northbound on Nickel Avenue and turned west onto 270th Street where it went out of control, entered the south ditch and rolled over. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Stoner tractor and planter was estimated at $5,000.
