Update: Police called off the search for the missing 10-year-old boy just after 10 p.m. A diving team will resume efforts at daybreak.
Marshalltown Police are scouring the Iowa River bank looking for a 10-year-old boy who went missing some time Monday.
Officials are on scene at the Center Street Dam area, near North Center Street and North Third Street.
The Marshalltown Fire Department is also on scene.
No further details were released at this time.
