Dale Bailey, 81, of the Iowa Veterans Home, died Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa, surrounded by his loving family. Funeral services and a celebration of Dale's life will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, June 25, at the First Baptist Church in Marshalltown. Burial with full military honors by the Harry C. Harter Veterans of Foreign Wars Post # 839 and the Frank Lewis Glick Post #46 will follow services. Visitation for Dale will be held on Sunday, June 24 from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be directed in Dale's name to his family.
