William "Bill" Chantland 79, of Marshalltown, died on Sunday, June 23, 2012, at the Iowa Veterans Home surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 28, 2012, at New Hope Christian Church in Marshalltown, Iowa. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown.
