The accused gunman of a February shooting that killed a local man will plead guilty to second-degree murder.
Steven Etzen, 27, is one of three men charged in the shooting of Benjamin Benda, 39, in the apartments above Center Street Station at 19 1/2 N. Center St.
Court records implicate Etzen as the shooter.

The court has yet to sentence the other two men involved, Shawn Doehler, 23, and Thomas Vaughn, 28, both of Marshalltown. It will do so in September.
Vaughn pleaded guilty in March while Doehler accepted a plea later that month, according to court records.
Jennifer Miller, Marshall County attorney, declined to comment on Etzen's plea.
Police previously said the Feb. 6 shooting was a robbery gone awry and charged the three men with first-degree murder, robbery and burglary following the shooting.
The gunshot wound to the head eventually killed Benda, who died the following day at the University of Iowa Hosptials in Iowa City.
Etzen, Doehler and Vaughn fled Marshalltown following the shooting, according to police records, and were eventually arrested in Clarke County the same day Benda died from his injury.
All three men initially pleaded not guilty.
Etzen's hearing is set for 10 a.m. Friday.
