Workers at Grecian Dental, 110 N. First St., repair damage to the building Tuesday morning. Police said a car, which they found abandoned a few blocks down First Street, tore through the building’s front, demolishing a 10-foot-by-10-foot section of siding and knocking free the metal guard rails on the stairs. The previous owner recently sold the Chevy Monte Carlo, and police are still trying to locate the car’s most recent owner to question him or her as to who was driving the car Monday night. Police estimated damage to the dentistry to be around $20,000.
