Funeral services for Dale Richard Bailey, 81, of Iowa Veterans Home, Marshalltown, were held on Monday, June 25, 2012 at the First Baptist Church with Pastor Ian McClellan officiating.
He was laid to rest in the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens with Full Military Honors by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Harry C. Harter Post #839 and the American Legion Frank Lewis Glick Post #46. Pallbearers were Charles Bailey, Jason Wegter, Brandon Nelson, Travis Nelson, Luke Clevenger, Michael Wegter and Chad Nelson. Honorary Pallbearers were Tyler Abbe, Lauren Abbe, Brianne Wegter, Sarah Griffith, Jared Nelson, Derek Nelson, Bailey Nelson, Nick Clevenger and Trenton Clevenger.
Family and friends were in attendance.
The Mitchell Family Funeral Home was entrusted with his arrangements.
