Funeral services for Allen E. Cory, 85 of Marshalltown, were held on Monday, June 25, 2012 at the Liberty Baptist Church with Pastor Bob Kosbau officiating.
He was laid to rest in the Rose Hill Memorial Gardens with Military Honors by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Harry C. Harter Post #839 and American Legion Frank Lewis Glick Post #46. Pallbearers were Dan Settle, Mark Settle, Dan Cory, David Cory, Kent Keese and Wes Richardson. Honorary Pallbearers were Clyde Speas, Don Geiken, Mark Aubrey, Robert Olson, Dean Butters, Stan Hatch, Toby Graber and "Alfie."
Groups from EPKO Industries, Wellmark Customer Service, family and friends were in attendance.
The Mitchell Family Funeral Home was entrusted with his arrangements.
