Dominick Martell Osborne, 607 E. Olive St., made an initial appearance on a interference with official acts charge. He pleaded guilty and was fined $250 with a $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50 due immediately. The court allowed for monthly installment payments of $50 beginning July 24 until the debt is paid.

Michael Grandstaff, 533 N. 3rd St. Apt. A, made an initial appearance on a operating while intoxicated, second offense/violation of Pre-Trial Release charge. On Monday, an employee with the Union Pacific Railroad, of Omaha, Neb., reported hit and run damage to the passenger rear door on a 2009 Ford F250 pickup while parked at 3303 S. Center St. Estimated value of damage was $1,000.

Accidents

On Tuesday, a Chevrolet Monte Carlo driven by a currently unknown driver was in the parking lot of the Grecian Dental Office, 110 N. 1st St., when it drove in reverse up the stairs on the southwest corner of the office driving over two steel stairway railings, across a sidewalk, through the landscaping and into the southeast corner of the dental office. It then drove forward taking siding, building debris and landscape with it and became high-centered on a retaining wall where it left skid marks as it pulled away from the wall, taking the top layer of the wall off. The car continued north through the alleyway and then east into a driveway at 112 N. 1st St. pulling debris and a 10 foot by 10 foot section of siding and came to rest with the driver leaving the scene. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Grecian Dental Office was estimated at $20,000.

On Monday, a car driven by Francisco Javier Madrigal Rodriguez, 2112 S. 5th St., was southbound on Frontage Road at the intersection of Frontage Road and Southridge Road when it entered the intersection and collided with a vehicle driven by Anand Gundo Nariboli, 1706 S. 7th Ave. Apt. #11, which was traveling east on Southridge Road. No injuries were reported. Madrigal Rodriguez was cited for failure to yield when entering a through highway. Damage to the Madrigal Rodriguez car was estimated at $700 while the Nariboli vehicle received an estimated $3,500 in damage.
