Funeral services for William "Bill" Chantland, 80, of Marshalltown, were held on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at the New Hope Christian Church with Pastor Kerry Jech officiating.
He was laid to rest in the Pioneer Cemetery, Badger. Pallbearers were Chris Chantland, Loren Chantland, Ben Chantland, Eric Chantland, Nathan Chantland and Toney Cowell. Honorary Pallbearers were Nick Carl, Gary Warnell, Larry Warnell, Dick Warnell and Jim Hulin.
Groups from New Hope Christian Church and American Legion were in attendance.
The Mitchell Family Funeral Home was entrusted with his arrangements.
