Harold Harry Buck, born May 24, 1926, passed from this life on November 10, 2011 in Mesa, AZ. Born in Riceville, IA, Harold grew up in Ogden, then settled in Marshalltown following a period of service in the U.S. Navy, where he served at Pearl Harbor as an Electrician's Mate. Harold and his wife, Elnor Hiatt Buck (deceased) moved to their retirement home in Mesa in 1994.
Harold is preceded in death by his wife, Elnor, his sisters Alma Breed and Dorothy Clausen and his brother Dallas Buck. He is survived by his sister, Loretta Jones, of Ogden, his son, Tad Buck, of Bedford, TX, and three step-children, Jane Roberts Kleindl, of Kansas City, MO, Bill Roberts, of Dallas, TX, and Barbara Roberts Cramer, of Mesa, AZ, 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Graveside services and interment are planned for Saturday, July 7, 2012, 12:00 P.M. at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens, followed by a light luncheon at the Hampton Inn, 20 W. Iowa Ave., Marshalltown.
