Marie Reinhard, 85, of Gladbrook, IA passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2012, at Westbrook Acres Nursing Home in Gladbrook. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, July 7, 2012, at Badger Hill Cemetery, in Gladbrook. Goettsch Funeral Home in Gladbrook has been entrusted with the arrangements. Marie was born September 13, 1926 to Henri and Dionyse (DeCraene) in Ghent, Belgium. She was raised and educated in Ghent, Belgium. Marie was united in marriage to E. Lynn Reinhard on May 18, 1946, in Belgium. He died December 23, 2008. Marie lived in the Gladbrook area and was a homemaker. She enjoyed dancing, crocheting, and sewing.
Marie will be missed by a daughter, Denise (Stan) Toner of Rochester, MN, five grandchildren, Brian "BJ" Bomar, Karen Bomar, Christopher Toner, Angela Lopez, a son in law, Dan Bomar of West Des Moines, IA, two great grandchildren, Kimberly and Katalina Lopez, two sisters, Irene Meeus Depelsemaeker, Gaby Meeus, a brother, Romain Meeus, all of Belgium, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lynn, a daughter, Lynette Bomar, a brother, Roger Meeus, three sisters, Emma Meeus Dhgen, Angele Meeus, and Liesbeth Meeus.
