The CIML Iowa Conference's second-leading hitter has earned her third all-conference accolade.
Marshalltown High School junior catcher Taylor Wagner was named to the all-CIML Iowa Conference softball first team - the first Bobcat to do so since junior outfielder Carly Thompson in 2003.
Wagner entered the postseason with a .463 batting average with team highs of 57 hits, 34 runs, 18 doubles, five home runs and 24 RBIs.
Only Ames sophomore Kate Crow (.504) has a higher batting average than Wagner in the CIML Iowa.
Wagner was a second-team pick last season and honorable mention as a freshman.
MHS junior third baseman Madi Bellile earned second team all-conference selection. She took a .336 batting average and a team-high 13 stolen bases into regional play.
Earning honorable mention for the Bobcats are seniors Taylor Vaske and Hailee Beals, juniors Lauren Mazour and Quinn Goodman, and freshman Cassidy Blackford.
Vaske, Mazour and Beals each received honorable mention last summer as well.
