To the people of Marshalltown: Due to circumstances beyond my control I will not be attending the 2012 Olympics in London, England .
I was told quite awhile back that it was official that I would be Team USA Boxing Team Manager.
The USA Boxing Board of Directors felt they needed to go in a different direction and picked a different person to become Team Manager for Team USA Boxing.
Even though this is an embarrassment to me I would like to thank all the people who called, sent cards and personally congratulated me.
I wish Team USA Boxing all the best success at the London games.
