Rev. Rick D. Vesely, 58, of Traer, died Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at his home after complications due to ALS, Lou Gehrig's disease.
Services will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1301 Kimball Ave., Waterloo, on Saturday, July 21 at 10:37 a.m. Visitation will be held at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, 965 Home Plaza, Waterloo on Friday, July 20 from 2 to 8 p.m. Burial will be at Buckingham Cemetery in Traer. He is survived by his wife Jan, his children Corey (Allison) Vesely, of Waterloo, Ben Vesely, of Ankeny, Emily (Scott) Krambeck, of Lincoln, Neb., Chad (Candie) Fehr, of Coatesville, Ind., and Wendy (Greg) Deitrick, of Traer, 11 grandchildren; one brother Galen (Donna) Vesely, of Traer, and sister Deanna (Mike) Joebgen, of Sumner.
