Terry Branstad was on C-SPAN defending the fact he gets $50,000 a year in state pension plus his salary ($130,000) for being governor now. How many other state employees have that benefit? Why does Terry Branstad want state employees to sacrifice part of their salary for the good of the state, but he is not sacrificing? Hey Terry - isn't the best way to lead is to lead by example? Shouldn't Terry give up that pension as long as he is governor?
