Travis and Amy Clark, of Melbourne, are the parents of a daughter, Ensly Elyse, born at 12:24 a.m. June 26 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames, weighing 7 pounds and 2 ounces and measuring 19 1/2 inches long. Ensly joins siblings Ethyn and Evalyn. Grandparents are Steve and Deb Heater, of Gilman, and Mike and Janet Clark, of Melbourne. Great-grandparents are Gladys Hamman, of Perry, and Mary Clark, of Melbourne.

Arrests

On Thursday, Matthew James Mills, of Liscomb, was arrested for public intoxication.

Accidents

On Thursday, a car driven by Elisabeth Lee Tonner, of Conrad, was westbound on East Olive Street in the 1500 block when the right side mirror struck pedestrian Terri Jo Vajgrt who was walking along the north curb in the same lane. Vajgrt was transported to Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center with possible injuries. Damage to the Tonner car was estimated at $500.

On Thursday, cars driven by Leslie John Clemens, of Haverhill, and Daniel Angus Bonnette, of Beaumont, Texas, collided in the intersection South Center Street and Nicholas Drive with both drivers believing they had green lights and no conclusive evidence at this time to change that. Clemens and passenger Sandra M. Clemens, of Haverhill, were transported to Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center with possible injuries. Bonnette had possible injuries, but was not treated or transported. Damage to the Clemens car was estimated at $7,000 while the Bonnette car received an estimated $10,000 in damage.

Brandon Godfrey, 308 N. 1st Ave. Apt. #6, made an initial appearance on a assault on a peace officer charge, a harassment of a peace officer charge, two counts of a interference with official acts charge, a theft, fifth degree charge, a driving while suspended charge and a probation violation charge. The public defender's office was appointed to handle his cases. The assault on a peace officer, harassment of a peace officer, two counts of interference with official acts, theft, fifth degree and driving under suspension charges had a preliminary hearing set for 1 p.m. July 30. The probation revocation hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. Sept. 14. Bond on all charges is set at $24,000 cash or surety.

William Coon, 807 W. State St., made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. The public defender's office was appointed to handle his case. The probation revocation hearing is set for 2:30 p.m. Aug. 10. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety.

Matthew Feld, 2610 S. 8th St., made an initial appearance on a burglary, third degree charge. The public defender's office was appointed to handle his case. The preliminary hearing is set for 1 p.m. Aug. 7. Feld is released through the Department of Correctional Services and is to contact them within 24 hours.

On Thursday, Michelle Lynne Stanley, 7 N. 9th St. Apt. #2, was arrested for child endangerment without injury.

On Monday, Steven Fisk Wilcox, 2232 Highland Acres Road, and homeless, was arrested for probation violation and absence from custody.

On Monday, Ben Edward Lewis, of Sioux Falls, S.D., was arrested for contempt/failure to complete batterer's education program.

On July 15, Vincent Charles Steward, of Melbourne, was arrested on two drug offenses.

On July 10, Yolonda Arlene Rowley, 906 W. Main St. Apt. #5, was arrested for disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On July 9, Jamell Arlene Goodman, of Melbourne, was arrested for interference with official acts and disorderly conduct.

On July 2, Alex Garron Treft, of Liscomb, was arrested for delivery of a controlled substance.
