Lee Robert Blouin, of Eldora, made an initial appearance on a child endangerment charge. The public defender's office was appointed to handle his case. The preliminary hearing is set for 1 p.m. Aug. 8. Blouin was released through the Department of Correctional Services and is to contact them within eight hours.

Matthew James Mills, of Liscomb, made an initial appearance on a public intoxication charge. He pleaded guilty and was fined $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $147.75, due immediately. The court allowed for monthly installment payments of $50 beginning Aug. 17 until the debt is paid.

Justin Sease, 511 E. Linn St., made an initial appearance on a speeding charge. He pleaded not guilty and a pre-trial conference is set for 9 a.m. Sept. 25.

Kang Ruach Yol, 710 S. 12th St. Apt. #1, made an initial appearance on a public consumption charge. He pleaded guilty and was fined $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $147.75, due immediately.

Todd Robinson, 1705 W. Main St., made an initial appearance on a failure to obey a stop or yield sign charge. He pleaded guilty and was fined $100 with a $35 surcharge, a $5 county enforcement surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $195, due immediately.

Ariel Pepe, of Gladbrook, made an initial appearance on a striking an unattended vehicle/failure to provide information charge. She pleaded guilty and was fined $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $147.75, due immediately.

Adam Needs, 514 Woodbury St., made an initial appearance on a driving while license is denied, cancelled, revoked or suspended charge. He pleaded guilty and was fined $250 with a $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50, due immediately.

Larry David Rogers, 513 S. 4th St., made an initial appearance on a criminal mischief, fifth degree charge. He pleaded guilty and was fined $65 with a $22.75 surcharge, a $125 law enforcement initiative surcharge, $60 in court costs for a total of $272.75 plus restitution, due immediately. The court allowed for monthly installment payments of $50 beginning Aug. 17 until the debt is paid.
