Marlin R. Wiebold, age 66, of Council Bluffs, formerly of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away August 1, 2012 at Midlands Living Center in Council Bluffs. Marlin was born March 17, 1946 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to the late Arnold and Elsie (Pegum) Wiebold. He retired in 2003 from the U.S. Postal Service. In addition to his parents, Marlin was preceded in death by his brother, Melvin Wiebold. Marlin is survived by his son, Stacy Wiebold; stepchildren, Shelly Owens, Lee Good, Sherry Timmer; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Memorial service, Sunday, 3:00 p.m. followed by visitation with the family until 6:00 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. Entombment, Monday in Ridgewood Mausoleum. The family will direct memorials.
