Leroy "Roy" Kroener, 80, of Marshalltown, died Friday, August 10, 2012, at Grandview Heights in Marshalltown. Memorial services for Roy will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, August 13, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. There will not be a visitation. A private family burial will take place at a later date. Roy is survived by his wife Jane of Marshalltown, his three daughters; Kristine (Michael) Fruth of San Diego, California, Marilee Weatherman of Marshalltown and Leisa Kroener of Marshalltown, three sisters, one brother and his eleven grandchildren.
