On Monday, Dean Oziah Jr., 714 Noble St., reported the theft of a Next Power Climber bicycle parked next to the garage at 707 Woodbury St. Estimated value of loss was $100.
On Sunday, Margaret Mary Schwarck, 502 Debra Dr., reported the theft of a gold ring, a two-piece gold wedding ring, an antique thimble, five silver necklaces and 15 gold necklaces from her residence. Estimated value of loss was $1,930.
On Sunday, Lorrie Ann Bartlett, 423 Swayze St., was cited for violation of rabies vaccination.
On Monday, a vehicle driven by Rosalin Kerryl Moberg, of Conrad, and a pickup driven by Lori Anne Gardea, 405 Terry Terrace, were backing out of parking spots at K-Mart with the Gardea pickup starting first then the Moberg vehicle and the two collided. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Gardea pickup was estimated at $1,500.
On Sunday, a pickup driven by Ervin Ray Prue, 205 1/2 N. 9th St., was exiting a parking spot at Hy-Vee when it collided with the rear of a vehicle driven by Joel Robert Hengeveld, 1407 W. Boone St., which was driving through the parking lot aisle. No injuries were reported. Prue was cited for no insurance. Damage to the Prue pickup was estimated at $200 while the Hengeveld vehicle received an estimated $3,000 in damage.
On Sunday, a vehicle driven by Amber Lee Cervantes-Arteaga, 119 E. State St. Apt. #3, was eastbound in the 500 block of East Main Street when, due to the driver taking her eyes off the road, it collided with the rear of a legally parked pickup. Cervantes-Arteaga was transported to Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center while passenger David Cervantes-Arteaga was possibly injured, but not treated or transported. Cervantes-Arteaga was cited for careless driving and no insurance/accident. Damage to the Cervantes-Arteaga vehicle was estimated at $2,000 while the legally parked pickup received an estimated $1,000 in damage.
On Saturday, an unknown driver driving a 2006 Toyota Corolla was southbound on 18th Avenue when it crossed the center land and struck the concrete barrier on the overpass of Highway 30 and then the driver fled the scene. Damage to the car was estimated at $5,000.

On Aug. 15, Michael Eugene Mohon, 2002 Gethmann Dr. #302, was arrested for driving under the influence, failure to prove security, open container, operation without registration, intimidation and two counts of weapon law violations.
On Saturday, Aug. 11, Brian Dean Wauters, of Gilman, was arrested for driving under the influence and driving on the wrong side of a two-way highway.
On Aug. 11, Cody Lee Craighton, 310 N. 7th St., was arrested for operating while intoxicated/first offense.
On Aug. 10, Ezekiel Gonzalez Garcia, 409 1/2 W. Church St. Apt. #2, and the Halfway House, was arrested for absence from custody.

The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a good intent call at 207 S. 3rd St., and five medical assists with the EMS crew to: 3303 S. Center St., 202 N. 2nd Ave., 1610 Fremont St., 1301 Summit St. and 509 Brentwood Rd.
The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to three medical assists with the EMS crew to: 704 N. Center St., 107 1/2 N. 2nd St., and 902 W. Lincoln Way.
The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a passenger vehicle fire at 905 E. Main St., a false alarm at 513 S. 4th St., a smoke detector activation/no fire/unintentional at 17 N. 1st St., and four medical assists with the EMS crew to: 122 W. Main St., 1211 W. State St., 3202 S. 12th St., and 3303 S. Center St.
The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to an extrication of victims from vehicle in the 500 block of East Main Street, and seven medical assists with the EMS crew to: 109 N. 3rd St., 413 N. 15th St., 207 Westwood Dr., 206 1/2 S. 3rd Ave., 405 N. 15th Ave., 1302 W. Church St., and 311 Innes Boulevard.
