In the 1950s and 1960s, when I went to school, we walked five or six blocks to school. Now I see kids in the same neighborhood being picked up by school buses. How much are taxpayers paying for that? Why can't kids walk to school like their grandparents could? I heard a lot of the young kids today are obese. Now I know why.
