Celebration Of Life services were held for John W. Smith, 56, Monday, Aug. 27 at Hope United Methodist Church with the Rev. Scott Lothe officiating.
Casket bearers
Jim Johnson, Don Sears, Pat Carmody, Marty Scovill, Mike Halverson, Bill Backoff and Roger Ward.
Honorary Bearers were Steve Groat and Derrick Barker.
Interment was at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Marshalltown.
Union Pacific Railroad Employees were in attendance.
Pursel Davis Funeral and Cremation Care, in Marshalltown was entrusted with the arrangements.
