Knights do it again

The Knights of Columbus Council 966 held its annual charity golf outing at Collison's Par Three Golf Course on Sunday, August 19. The tournament was again a tremendous success with 27 foursomes enjoying a wonderful day of food, fun and fellowship. The weather was fantastic and John Casey again won four rounds of golf at the Harvester in the Grand Prize Raffle. We want to thank all those who participated in the golf outing and made this event a tremendous success.

The Knights raised approximately $2,600 for the Marshalltown Area Catholic Schools. Numerous volunteers helped to make this event successful including: Bob Jacobson Sr.; Mike Vanderah; Randy Giannetto; Fritz and Terry Polt; Steve Kloberdanz; Ava Jacobson; Erica Jacobsen and Lisa Reeder. Special thanks also go out to Mark Collison for the use his golf course for the day.

There were also numerous hole sponsors and raffle prize donors that contributed to the success of this years tournament. These included:
