ELDORA - Dike-New Hartford took all of the top honors at the Pine Lake Fun Run, which had all of its races shortened in distance because of the heat.
The Wolverines won the boys' team title with 50 points, outdistancing runner-up East Marshall in second with 70, while the D-NH girls were a dominant winner with 46 points.
Dike-New Hartford also captured both individual medalist honors, with John Crew and Lauren Sharp finishing in front of the rest of the field in their respective races.
East Marshall's boys finished second with a pair of top-five runners. Ben Terrones took second in 13 minutes, 54 seconds, while Caleb Benzing placed fourth in 14:14. Drew Schossow scored 18th place in 15:04, Rob Petrie was 21st (15:30) and Seth Webb was 25th (15:39) to round out the Mustangs' scoring.
BCLUW (95) finished fourth in the team standings, followed by South Hardin (112) in fifth and Grundy Center (180) in sixth.
On the girls' side, South Hardin led the area squads with a third-place finish. Hudson was second with 90 and the host Tigers were close behind with 93.
BCLUW (135) came in fifth, Grundy Center (137) was sixth, East Marshall (153) seventh, Gladbrook-Reinbeck (160) eighth and North Tama (171) ninth.
East Marshall's Haley Fye finished in second in 13:41 to lead the team. Paige Flugge clocked in at 15:55 to 20th, while Kaylee Howe (16:37) was 29th. Allie Roberts was 38th (17:15) and Sarah Vajgrt 64th (20:20).
