B. Robert Bishop, 94, of Countryside, Ill., formerly of State Center, died in Illinois. Visitation will be at 11 a.m. Saturday Sept. 1, 2012, until time of funeral service at 2 p.m. at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside, IL. A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday Sept. 2, 2012, at Marietta Cemetery, Marietta Township. In lieu of flowers, direct memorials to the American Heart Association.
Mr. Bishop was a graduate of LaMoille High School. He was a U.S. Army, Air Corps Veteran of World War II.
Mr. Bishop was the beloved husband of Dorothy, nee Foote; loving father of Rev. Benjamin (Susan), Thomas, Kip (Kathy) and Terry (Susan); devoted grandfather of six and great-grandfather of five.
