On Wednesday, Kayla Nicole Mobley, 906 S. 7th Ave., reported the theft of an HP laptop computer. Estimated value of loss was $300.
On Wednesday, Tonyika Shantel Lewis, 134 E. Main St. Apt. #610, was cited for alcohol in the park.
On Wednesday, David Charles Smith, 134 E. Main St. Apt. #610, was cited for alcohol in the park.
On Wednesday, Antonio Ibarra-Meza, 303 Sharon Ave., was arrested for violation of a no-contact order, contempt of court.
On Wednesday, Jimmy Santino Lubari, 134 E. Main St. Apt. #324, was arrested for public intoxication.
On Wednesday, Lucinda Jo Grace, 1401 S. 7th Ave. Apt. #104, was arrested for harassment, third-degree.
On Tuesday, a car driven by Juan Carlos Solis, 517 Bromley St., was westbound on East Anson Street when it attempted to turn south onto South Ninth Avenue in front of a pickup driven by Mark Eugene Gummert, 12 N. 7th St., which was traveling east on Anson Street and they collided. No injuries were reported. Solis was cited for failure to yield upon left turn. Damage to the Solis car was estimated at $2,500 while the Gummert pickup received an estimated $1,500 in damage.
On Tuesday, a car driven by Laura Ann Arterburn, of State Center, was exiting the driveway between Git & Go and McDonald's to go southbound on Highway 14 when it pulled in front of a vehicle driven by Michael Shawn Ecklor, of Haverhill, and they collided. Ecklor was transported to Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center with injuries and Arterburn received possible injuries, but was not transported. Arterburn was cited for unsafe entry onto roadway. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at $4,000 each.
On Monday, a pickup driven by Kyle Parker Newby, of Gilman, was westbound on Westwood Drive stopped at the intersection with South Sixth Street when it entered the intersection and collided with a vehicle driven by David George Powell, 1308 S. 6th St., that was going through the intersection. No injuries were reported. Newby was cited for failure to obey a stop or yield sign. Damage to the Newby pickup was estimated at $500 while the Powell vehicle received an estimated $2,000 in damage.

Lucinda Grace, 1401 S. 7th Ave. Apt. #104, made an initial appearance on a harassment, third-degree charge. She pleaded not guilty and the court appointed Dalton Kidd to represent her in this matter. The pre-trial conference is set for 9 a.m. on Oct. 16 in Magistrate Court. Grace was released on her own recognizance. A no-contact order was issued for the protected party.
Arturo Miranda, 309 Park St., made an initial appearance on a operating while intoxicated charge and a driving under suspension charge. The public defender's office was appointed to handle his cases. The preliminary hearing is set for 1 p.m. on Oct. 9. Miranda was released on his own recognizance. The court ordered that he obtain a substance abuse evaluation and submit the results to the court within 60 days.
Casey Thurston, address unknown, made an initial appearance on an arrest warrant for failure to appear for arraignment charge. The court appointed Marshon Dubbert to represent him in this matter. The arraignment hearing is rescheduled for 1 p.m. on Sept. 27. Bond is set at $2,000 cash only.
