Marjorie Mugge, 88,

Marjorie Mugge, 88, of Beaman, died, Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012, at Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center in Marshalltown. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, Sept. 24, 2012, at the Beaman United Methodist Church. Visitation will be 3 to 6 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012, at the Johnston Funeral Home, in Conrad. Interment will be at the Conrad Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the hospice of your choice. Online condolences may be sent to www.vogelfuneralhomes.com.

Marge was born July 18, 1924, to Gustave and Ila R. (Rosenberger) Landt in Gladbrook. She graduated from Gladbrook High School. Marge was united in marriage to Delbert Mugge on Feb. 7, 1942, in Lancaster, Mo. He died June 28, 1990. She was employed at Ritchie Industries as a machinist for 23 years, retiring in 1988. Marge was a member of the Beaman United Methodist Church. She enjoyed baking, camping, the Cubs and never missed bingo on Monday nights in Beaman.

Marge will be missed by her two sons: Gary Mugge, of Beaman, and Steve Mugge, of Conrad; five grandchildren: Robyn (Doug) Heisdorffer, Mark (Julie) Mugge, Jeremy (Bridgette) Mugge, Stacy (Brad) Mugge, Shelley (Randy) Schafer; seven great grandchildren and a brother, Ray (Dorothy) Landt, of Gladbrook.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert, long time companion, Harold Frohein and two daughter-in-laws: Linda (Lynch) Mugge and Bonnie (Pence) Mugge.
