Mary "Veronica" Hartliep, 94, of Cherokee, died following a brief illness on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012, at the Cherokee Villa Nursing and Rehab Center while in their care, that of Care Initiatives Hospice and that of her loving family.
Services were held on Sept. 8, 2012, at Immaculate Conception Church in Cherokee with Greenwood Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her son, Gill (Nancy) Hartliep, of Marshalltown; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren as well as numerous relatives and friends.
