I have Parkinson's disease. I reside at the Iowa Veterans Home. My care is outstanding.
My husband served in the European Theater during World War II, which made me eligible to reside in this wonderful facility.
The staff is caring, friendly and efficient. I have been here since May 2012 and my condition has improved as a result of excellent care.
The recent article in the paper about the Iowa Veterans Home is not indicative of the environment here. I speak not only for myself, but I believe for the majority, if not all residents here.
