Tracy Cullor, 3202 S. 12th St. Lot #50, made an initial appearance on a arrest warrant alleging several violations while on probation. The public defender's office was appointed to handle her case. The probation revocation hearing is set for 10 a.m. on Oct. 19. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety.
Tymiesha Glass, 405 S. 3rd St., made an initial appearance on a disorderly conduct charge. She pleaded not guilty and a pre-trial conference was set for 9 a.m. on Oct. 30.
Michael Luethje, 405 Plaza Heights Rd. Apt. B, made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. He pleaded guilty and was fined $250 with a $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50.
Brenda Gomez, 306 N. 7th St., made an initial appearance on a possession of a Schedule I controlled substance charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. The public defender's office was appointed to handle her cases. The preliminary hearing is set for 1 p.m. on Oct. 15. Gomez was released on her own recognizance. The court ordered that she obtain a substance abuse evaluation and submit the results to the court within 60 days.

On Tuesday, a car driven by Gabriela Magana Contreras, 303 N. 12th Ave., was eastbound on 16th Street attempting to pass a semi when it possibly made contact with the semi or hit the shoulder of the roadway, went out of control, spun around and came to rest in the north ditch. No injuries were reported. Magana Contreras was cited for failure to maintain control, no insurance and violation of a restricted license. Damage to the Magana Contreras car was estimated at $3,000.
Marshalltown Police Department
On Monday, Cesar Godinas, 410 S. 13th Ave., reported the theft of a Fossil watch, a Citizen watch, another watch, a gold necklace and a silver necklace from his residence. Estimated value of loss was $1,170.
On Monday, Linda Butler, of Gifford, reported the theft of money from her wallet while at Walmart in the amount of $320.
On Monday, Carlos Mendoza, 409 Sharon Ave., was arrested for driving while barred.
