Marshall Town Center hosted its first Malltemberfest Market Saturday with more than 40 vendors in attendance.
Some were local vendors with hand-made crafts and foods such as: jams and jellies, hats and scarves, jewelry and home decor. Others were bigger names such as Tupperware, Pampered Chef, Tastefully Simple and Scentsy.
The purpose behind the event was to attract the attention of the community to the mall and inspire the public to continue supporting the local businesses. According to the Marshall Town Center's Marketing Manager Susan Schuett-Krough, the event was a complete success.

Market-goers enjoyed the variety of vendors provided by the Marshall Town Center during its Malltemberfest Market on Saturday.
"We would absolutely like to continue to do this every fall," Krough said. "I am just thrilled with the response we received from the community."
The other merchants in the mall said it was a great day for them as well and that it has been a long time since they have seen that much traffic in the mall. According to Krough, they will continue to work towards improving the event each year to make it more fun and successful for everyone.
