IOWA CITY - Three Iowa football players, including starting cornerback Micah Hyde, have been arrested in separate incidents.

The Iowa City Press-Citizen reported that the 21-year-old Hyde was arrested early Saturday morning at an Iowa City bar on suspicion of public intoxication and interference with official acts. A police report says he was among of group of people who refused to leave the bar at closing time and fought with the bar's staff.

Back-up tight end Ray Hamilton was arrested at a different bar on suspicion of being underage at a bar after 10 p.m., and reserve offensive lineman Drew Clark was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication.

"I was disappointed to learn of the events involving three team members, as all three of these student-athletes have been good citizens during their time in our program," Iowa head coach Kirk Ferentz said in a statement. "We will follow protocol set by the UI student-athlete Code of Conduct, as well as taking additional measures within the program."

The Hawkeyes did not play Saturday and return to action Oct. 13 at Michigan State.
