Tuesday
Richard Casali, 204 W. Nevada St., made an initial appearance on a dog at large charge and a interference with official acts charge. The public defender's office was appointed to handle his cases. The pre-trial conference is set for 9 a.m. on Nov. 20 in Magistrate Court. Casali was released on his own recognizance.
Magistrate Court
Two female juveniles made an initial appearance on a curfew violation charge. In both cases they pleaded guilty and were fined $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $147.75. The court allowed, in lieu of the fine and surcharge, 10 hours of community service plus paying the court costs of $60 to be completed by Dec. 31.
Shawn Babberl, 107 N. 2nd St. (Rear), made an initial appearance on a failure to obey a stop sign and yield right of way charge. He pleaded not guilty and a pre-trial conference is set for 9 a..m. on Nov. 13.
Dennis Foster, address unknown, made an initial appearance on a operating while intoxicated first-offense charge. The court set the preliminary hearing for 1 p.m. on Nov. 5. Foster was released on his own recognizance. A substance abuse evaluation was ordered by the court with the results to be submitted within 60 days of today's date.
Mercedes Papakee, address unknown, made an appearance on a failure to appear for arraignment charge. A scheduling hearing is set for 1 p.m. on Oct. 22 in District Associate Court. The bond will continue as posted.

Arrests
On Monday, Kara Ann Isenhower, of St. Anthony, was arrested for serious domestic assault.
On Saturday, Martin Robert Waddle, of Kellogg, was arrested for driving while barred.
On Friday, Wol Reec Wol, 134 E. Main St. Apt. #528, was arrested for violation of pre-trial release.
On Thursday, Juan Roy Lizarde, 209 N. 2nd Ave., and Homeless, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and probation revocation.
On Thursday, John Vivian Sims Jr., 106 Santa Barbara Dr., was arrested for ongoing criminal conduct, three counts of burglary second-degree, three counts of burglary third-degree, possession of burglar tools and theft fifth-degree.
Accidents
On Saturday, a car driven by Angela Susan Anderson, of Laurel, was southbound on Reed Avenue when six deer entered the roadway and one was struck causing front end damage to the car. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Anderson car was estimated at $2,500.
