Accidents

On Oct. 8, a car driven by Ronald David Rainey, 905 W. State St., was southbound in the 10 block of South Center Street when it entered the intersection with East Church Street on a red light and collided with a pickup driven by Timothy Allen Bradbury, 12 N. 10th Ave., which was traveling west on Church Street. No injuries were reported. Rainey was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device. Damage to the Rainey car was estimated at $2,000 while the Bradbury pickup received an estimated $3,000 in damage.

On Monday, a car driven by Ed Kee, 517 N. 3rd St. Apt. C, was westbound on East Southridge Road when it struck a legally parked car in the 200 block of Southridge Road and then left the scene. No injuries were reported. Kee was cited for information and aid-leaving the scene of an accident. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at $5,000 each.

Incidents

On Monday, Cara S. Jackson, 510 Bromley St., reported the theft of a Seiko watch, 16 western bolo ties and a checkbook from 704 Bromley St.

On Monday, Jose Manuel Rico-Nava, 1707 W. Main St., reported scratch damage to a 2005 Cadillac Escalade while parked at the Impala Ballroom, 1000 W. Lincoln Way. Estimated value of damage was $700.

On Monday, Shannon Marie Vry, 209 E. Southridge Rd., reported hit and run damage to a 1997 Pontiac Grand Am. Estimated value of damage was $5,000.

Arrests

On Monday, Raymundo Flores, 502 N. 12th Ave. Apt. #11, was arrested for harassment of a public official.

Arrests

On Oct. 9, Amanda St. Clair, age 35, of Fort Dodge, was arrested by the Fort Dodge Police Department on a Grundy County warrant charging her with contempt of court. She is being held in lieu of bond.

On Oct. 7, Chum Zel, age 20, of Crescent Springs, Ky., was arrested on Highway 20 for eluding and operating while intoxicated first-offense. He is being held in lieu of bond.

On Oct. 7, Van Lian, age 29, of Columbus, Ohio, was arrested on Highway 20 for possession of a dangerous weapon. He is being held in lieu of bond.

On Oct. 6, Logan Lorenz, age 23, of Reinbeck, was arrested at The Mill on a Benton County warrant charging him with failure to appear. He was released to Benton County authorities.

On Oct. 5, Robert Dalton, age 21, of Marshalltown, was arrested by Marshall County authorities on a Grundy County warrant charging him with contempt of court. He posted bond and was released.

On Oct. 3, Mitchell Deters, age 54, of Wellsburg, was arrested at the Grundy County Sheriff's Office charging him with failure to appear. He posted bond and was released.

On Sept. 30, Ronald Anderson, age 60, of Britt, was arrested on Highway 20 for possessing a dangerous weapon. He posted bond and was released.

On Sept. 29, Stacey Clubine, age 48, of Conrad, was arrested by Black Hawk authorities on a Grundy County warrant charging him with theft fifth-degree. He posted bond and was released.

Accidents

On Oct. 11, a vehicle driven by Austin Rindels, age 18, of Wellsburg, was eastbound on 160th Street west of M Avenue when it went out of control, crossed the road, entered the north ditch and struck a power pole. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Rindels vehicle was estimated at $4,000.

On Oct. 2, a vehicle driven by Houston Rosteck, age 16, of Parkersburg, was eastbound on Westbrook and attempted to turn north onto M Avenue when it went out of control and rolled into the north ditch. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Rosteck vehicle was estimated at $4,000.

On Oct. 1, a car driven by Cody Trask, age 24, of Wellsburg, was traveling on 150th Street and attempted to turn north onto I Avenue when it entered the west ditch and rolled onto its top. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Trask car was estimated at $4,000.

On Sept. 30, a car driven by Travis Freese, age 19, of Reinbeck, was on Hillcrest in Reinbeck and attempted to turn onto Spruce when it struck a legally parked vehicle owned by William Bowen, of Reinbeck. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Freese car was estimated at $4,000 while the Bowen vehicle received an estimated $2,000 in damage.

On Sept. 28, a semi driven by Joseph Tensen, age 23, of Brooten, Minn., was westbound on Highway 20 when it struck a deer that entered the traveled portion of the roadway. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Tensen semi was estimated at $2,000.

Marshalltown Fire Department

Oct. 10

The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to an extrication of victims on South Sixth Street, a natural vegetation fire at 410 N. 16th St., and five medical assists with the EMS crew to: 2500 S. Center St., 3202 S. 12th St., 101 W. Iowa Ave., 402 N. 10th Ave., and 122 W. Main St.

Oct. 11

The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to an extrication of victims at 2800 240th St., and two medical assists with the EMS crew to 207 W. Nevada St., and 106 Santa Barbara Dr.

Friday

The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to four medical assists with the EMS crew to: 511 Roberts Terrace, 915 W. Merle Hibbs Boulevard, 200 S. 12th Ave., and 106 W. Webster St.

Saturday

The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to five medical assists with the EMS crew to: 304 Nicholas Dr., 8 Santa Barbara Dr., 909 Prairie Lane, 1716 S. 5th St., and 1001 W. Iowa Ave.

Sunday

The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to an extrication of victims on East Anson Street and seven medical assists with the EMS crew to: 19 N. Center St., 213 W. Meadow Lane, 211 W. Olive St., 203 N. 3rd St., 711 N. 4th Ave., 2907 S. 6th St., and 111 N. 7th St.
