AMES - Gladbrook-Reinbeck graduate Taylor Petersen was one of 19 Iowa State cross country runners named to the 2012 Academic All-Big 12 team.
Petersen, who finished sixth at the state cross country meet as a G-R senior in 2008, is one of 11 members of the ISU women's team to gain first-team honors.
The junior from Reinbeck is an animal science major who is receiving the academic honor for the second year in a row.
