Incidents

On Oct. 21, Jennifer Dillon, 103 W. Nevada St., reported the theft of a Polaroid MP3 player from her residence. Estimated value of loss was $140.

On Oct. 21, an employee with Walmart, 2802 S. Center St., reported the theft of miscellaneous merchandise from the store valued at $141.94.

On Tuesday, Denis Allen Trehey, 8 S. 5th Ave. Apt. B, reported the theft of cash in the amount $300 from his residence.

On Wednesday, an employee with Home Rental, 603 S. 6th St., reported the theft of a Bobcat Skidloader and a B & B trailer from the business. Estimated value of loss was $48,000.

On Tuesday, Angelita Felan Davalos, 309 N. 4th St., reported the theft of a Dell laptop computer from her residence. Estimated value of loss was $800.

On Monday, James Louis Kelehan II, 605 Jerome St., reported hit and run damage to the driver side mirror on a Chrysler Concorde while parked in front of his residence. Estimated value of damage was $150.

On Tuesday, Denis Allen Trehey, 8 S. 5th Ave. Apt. B, reported the theft of cash in the amount $300 from his residence.

Arrests

On Oct. 21, Marco Tulio Hernandez-Alvarez, 412 E. Boone St., was arrested for operating while intoxicated first-offense.

On Tuesday, Kara Ann Isenhower, of St. Anthony, was arrested for public intoxication.

On Oct. 15, Antonio Ibarra-Meza, 303 Sharon Ave., was arrested for violation of a no-contact order.

On Wednesday, Willie John Hilson, address unknown, was arrested for public consumption.

On Wednesday, Jose Alfredo Cervantes-Reynosa, 1110 S. 4th St., was arrested for driving while barred.

On Wednesday, Jeremy Ray Waltemeyer, 503 E. Boone St., was arrested for disorderly conduct.

On Wednesday, Christina Lynn Meeks, of Laurel, was arrested for theft fifth-degree from Walmart.

On Wednesday, Adrianne Elizabeth Niles, of Laurel, was arrested for theft, fifth-degree.

On Oct. 20, Richard Eugene Casali, 204 W. Nevada St., was arrested for violation of proof of rabies vaccination.

On Tuesday, Kara Ann Isenhower, of St. Anthony, was arrested for public intoxication.

On Oct. 15, Antonio Ibarra-Meza, 303 Sharon Ave., was arrested for violation of a no-contact order.

Daniel Todd Branon, 1401 S. 17th Ave., was arrested for sex abuse second-degree.

Accidents

On Monday, a pickup driven by Nicole Marie Murty, of Conrad, was exiting a parking spot at Hy-Vee when it collided with a minivan driven by Delonda Rae Pushetonequa, of Tama, which was traveling through the lot. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Murty pickup was estimated at $1,000 while the Pushetonequa minivan received an estimated $4,000 in damage.

On Oct. 18, a car driven by Andrew Dean Streeter, 7 N. 13th St., was northbound on South Center Street on the viaduct when it collided with the rear of a car driven by Jo Sunghwan, 2610 W. Lincoln Way, which had pulled to the side and slowed to a stop for a passing fire truck with sirens and lights operating. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Streeter car was estimated at $2,500 while the Sunghwan car received an estimated $2,000 in damage.

On Thursday, a pickup driven by Gerald William Oliver, of Toledo, was eastbound on East Anson Street when it went through a stop sign at the intersection with South 12th Avenue and collided with a vehicle driven by Dulce M. Gutierrez-Rodriguez, 210 N. 18th St., which was traveling south on 12th Avenue. Oliver, Gutierrez-Rodriguez and passengers: Victor Angel, 210 N. 18th Ave., Ginger Lea Jefferson, of Toledo, and Bryson Lee Sheridan, of Tama, were all transported to Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center with possible injuries. Damage to the Oliver pickup was estimated at $8,000 while the Gutierrez-Rodriguez vehicle received an estimated $6,000 in damage.

On Tuesday, a car driven by Della Rose Oien, 1500 Lincoln Towers Circle, was exiting the horseshoe driveway at her residence when it collided with a pickup driven by Ronald Lee Wolken, of State Center, which was traveling east on West Lincoln Way. No injuries were reported. Oien was cited for failure to obey a stop sign. Damage to the Oien car was estimated at $2,000 while the Wolken pickup received an estimated at $500 in damage.

On Oct. 17, a car driven by Janet Elaine Guido Rodriguez, 610 W. State St. Apt. #2, was exiting a parking spot on West Main Street when it collided with a vehicle driven by Chun Ying Chen, 401 Rainbow Dr., which was traveling east on West Main Street. No injuries were reported. Guido Rodriguez was cited for no insurance-accident. Damage to the Guido Rodriguez car was estimated at $800 while the Chen vehicle received an estimated $1,800 in damage.

On Wednesday, a vehicle driven by Donald Lee Mohr, of Des Moines, was northbound on Highway 14 when a deer exited the ditch in front of the vehicle and was struck causing disabling damage to the vehicle. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Mohr vehicle was estimated at $4,500.

On Oct. 17, a car driven by Janet Elaine Guido Rodriguez, 610 W. State St. Apt. #2, was exiting a parking spot on West Main Street when it collided with a vehicle driven by Chun Ying Chen, 401 Rainbow Dr., which was traveling east on West Main Street. No injuries were reported. Guido Rodriguez was cited for no insurance-accident. Damage to the Guido Rodriguez car was estimated at $800 while the Chen vehicle received an estimated $1,800 in damage.

Citations

On Thursday, Laurie Jean Abramson, of Gilman, was cited for tampering with a witness and simple assault.
