Two Marshall County residents were among the 48 people arrested in a prostitution ring that police released details of Tuesday.
Thomas Norcross, 49, of Rhodes, and Kevin Weese, 44, of Marshalltown, were both arrested for prostitution nearly two weeks ago at an undisclosed location in the Des Moines area.
Urbandale Police Department collaborated with the Mid-Iowa Narcotics Task force in Polk County and took five of the prostitution reports. Those arrested hail from various cities across the state.
Calls to the Polk County Sheriff's Office Thursday afternoon to obtain details of the arrests were not returned at press time.
