The Marshalltown Community College men's soccer team earned a No. 9 seed for the upcoming NJCAA Division I National Championship next week in Albany, Ga.
The Tigers (13-5-2) will play against Tyler (Texas) Junior College and Jefferson (Mo.) College in pool play action starting Monday.
MCC will take on fourth-seeded Tyler (17-2-1) on Monday at noon and then will challenge fifth-seeded Jefferson (14-5-1) at 7:30 p.m. next Tuesday.
The top three seeds are all unbeaten this season. Host Darton State is the top seed and is 17-0, Monroe (N.Y.) CC is 16-0-1 and Louisburg (N.C.) College enters the tournament at 18-0.
