A Chelsea man was killed in an apparent farm accident near Toledo on Thursday afternoon.
Russell Behounek, 79, was identified by the Tama County Medical Examiner's Office on Friday.
Behounek was believed to be using a torch to cut up a "corn husking head" when one of the pieces shifted and fell on him, according to investigators.
The accident occurred near 2740 K Ave., north of the site of Pheasant Ridge Care Facility - the former Tama County Home.
The Toledo Fire Department and Ambulance service was called to the scene when it was reported about 2 p.m.
An autopsy has been ordered, according to Tama County Medical Examiner.
