The Marshalltown Fire Department made a donation of $1,055 to the Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center Foundation Tuesday for its Prevent program, an early breast cancer detection program. The fire department raised the money through sales of pink T-shirts during breast cancer awareness month in October.
