Vivian L. Knoll, 91, of Marshalltown, entered into eternal life September 13, 2012 at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown. Memorial services will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, November 24, 2012 at the Main St. Chapel of the Anderson Funeral Homes, in Marshalltown. There will be no visitation. Inurnment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Marshalltown.

Vivian was born October 7, 1920, in Marshalltown, Iowa, the daughter of Sam Williams and Gertrude (Samson) Williams. She graduated from Marshalltown High School. On June 14, 1941, she was united in marriage to Don Knoll. Vivian enjoyed attending her sons' athletic events, reading, traveling, watching television and visiting her grandchildren.
Vivian will be dearly missed by her three sons, Patrick and Kenneth, Des Moines, and Mike, Tahlequah, OK. She is survived by her three granddaughters: Katie (Andrew) Mott, Ames, IA, Sarah (David) Winkler, Omaha, NE and Elizabeth Knoll of Brooklyn, NY, and one great granddaughter, Carolyn Mott of Ames. In eternal life, Vivian joins her parents, husband Don and sister Verena.
