New Arrivals

Rodger and Melissa Burke, of Georgia, are the parents of a baby girl, Daphne Mae, born in Winn Hospital, Fort Stewart, Ga., at 1:04 p.m. on Nov. 12 weighing 8 pounds, 10 ounces and measuring 21 inches long 21 inches in length. Daphne is welcomed home by three older brothers: Austin, Brayden and Caleb. Grandparents Mike and Deb Nemechek and Jr and Teresa Burke.

Monday

The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to eight medical assists with the EMS crew to: 210 N. 21st St., 108 S. 8th St., 313 S. 3rd Ave., 1305 Fairway Dr., the 10 block of North 16th Street, 1522 W. State St., 206 Nicholas Dr., and 202 N. 2nd Ave.

Tuesday

The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to an unintentional transmission of alarm from 8 N. 7th Ave., an outside rubbish fire at 108 1/2 S. 3rd St., a false alarm at 1002 S. 3rd Ave., and three medical assists with the EMS crew to: 2819 W. Lincolnway, 134 E. Main St., and 1410 W. Church St.

Incidents

On Nov. 17, Brett James McBain, 8 S. 7th Ave., reported the theft of two Acer laptops, an Element 42 inch flatscreen TV, a PlayStation 3 game system, a Lacie hard drive, a Canon Mark 5D II camera, a Tamron 90mm lens and another Tamron lens from his residence. Estimated value of loss was $9,230.

On Wednesday, Levi Alan Baggerly, 604 1/2 W. Church St., reported the theft of cash and 50 hydrocodone pills from his residence. Estimated value of loss was $1,010.

On Wednesday, Paul Vanderkley, 1012 W. Nevada St., reported the theft of a Garmin Gps unit from a 2006 Hyundai Azera while parked in his driveway. Estimated value of loss was $138.

On Tuesday, Paige Danielle Hughes, 1704 W. State St., reported the theft of an XBox 360 Kinect with 20 XBox games, Lugz boots and a Hawkeye duffle bag from her residence. Estimated value of loss was $469.95.

Arrests

On Tuesday, Jason Tyrell Hamilton, 201 N. 2nd Ave., was arrested for obstruction of emergency communications.

On Tuesday, Mariah Suzanne Tufte, 310 S. 4th St., was arrested for interference with official acts and violation of a no-contact order.

On Tuesday, Todd Allen Fisher, 1509 W. State St., was arrested for carrying weapons and driving while barred.

On Tuesday, Maria Isabel Andrade, of Waterloo, was arrested for child endangerment without injury, operating while intoxicated-second offense and driving while revoked.

On Thursday, Julio C. Razo-Aguilar, of Tama, was arrested for public intoxication.

On Thursday, Kolton Craig Bolar, address unknown, was arrested for public intoxication.

On Thursday, Austin Eric Lowell, 607 E. Olive St. Apt. #18, was arrested for disorderly conduct, public intoxication and interference with official acts.

On Wednesday, Justin Michael Wise, of Conrad, was arrested for theft-third degree.

On Wednesday, Eduardo Zamudio, 3032 S. 12th St. Lot #109, was arrested for possession of a Schedule I controlled substance-marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On Wednesday, Rodney Brian Balvanz, 208 Glenda Dr. Apt. #6, was arrested for public intoxication and interference with official acts.

On Wednesday, Leydie Hillary Mejia, 803 Woodbury St., was arrested for driving while barred.
