CEDAR FALLS - The top-ranked Iowa Western Community College football team defeated second-rated Butler (Kan.) CC in the NJCAA Division I National Championship Game, 27-7, on Sunday at the UNI-Dome.

The Reivers football program is in just its fourth year of existence. Iowa Western ended the season with a 12-0 record.

West Marshall High School graduate Tysen Streeter, from State Center, is a member of the squad. He played four games as a defensive back for the Reivers, tallying two solo and two assisted tackles with one pass breakup.

The 5-foot-10, 160-pound freshman strong safety was a second-team all-state linebacker during his senior season at West Marshall.
