On Saturday, Michael Joseph Curley, 511 Woodbury St., was arrested for serious domestic assault.
On Saturday, Hector Lizarde-Garcia, 1009 W. Boone St., was arrested for possession of a Schedule I controlled substance-marijuana and eluding.
On Saturday, Gustavo Alonso Diaz, 106 W. Boone St., was arrested for possession of a Schedule I controlled substance-marijuana.
On Friday, Wren Ann Einck, of Reinbeck, was arrested for operating while intoxicated-first offense.
On Friday, Rudy Singh, 319 N. 11th Ave., was arrested for driving while barred.
On Nov. 29, Lisa Marie Etzen, 1901 S. 4th Ave., was arrested for theft-fifth degree.
On Nov. 29, Scott David Swartz, 1105 S. 5th Ave., was arrested for trespass.
On Monday, Dec. 3, Marissa Ann McStockard, 424 Union St., was arrested for theft-third degree-enhanced from Hy-Vee.
On Sunday, Dec. 2, Dolphus M. Coleman, Homeless, was arrested for harassment-first degree.
On Sunday, Dec. 2, Tyler Dale Walz, of Tama, was arrested for public intoxication, two counts of interference with official acts, assault on a peace officer and possession of a Schedule II controlled substance-methamphetamine.
On Monday, a car driven by Janet Lee Renoux, 1504 S. 6th St., was exiting a parking lot and attempting to cross South Center Street when it collided with a pickup driven by James Paul Hatch, of State Center, which was traveling south on Center Street. Renoux may have received injuries, but was not treated or transported. Damage to the Renoux car was estimated at $3,500 while the Hatch pickup received an estimated $2,000 in damage.
On Nov. 29, a school bus driven by John Robert Page, 2006 S. 3rd Ave. Place, was at a stop sign at the intersection of West Boone Street and South Ninth Street when it entered the intersection a struck a pickup driven by Laura Nichole Mathern, 806 S. 12th St., which was traveling northbound on Ninth Street. No injuries were reported. Page was cited for failure to obey a stop or yield sign. Damage to the school bus was estimated at $200 while the Mathern pickup received an estimated $1,500 in damage.
On Nov. 29, a car driven by Jordan Robert Wasem, of Waverly, was southbound on Highland Acres Road when it entered the intersection with West Lincolnway from a stop sign into the path of a van driven by Aroro Sale Tito, of Des Moines, and they collided. Wasem, Tito and passengers: Nani Tunu Keta, Oyane Galla, Asenay Lokki, Simon Kini, Jamar Haley, Lovetee Karlan, Longi Ali, Rosa Awan and Abrehet, all of Des Moines, and Charles Bowah, of West Des Moines, were all transported to Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center with possible injuries. Damage to the Wasem car was estimated at $4,000 while the Tito van received an estimated $5,000 in damage.
On Nov. 29, a pickup driven by Luann Ellen Olsen, 3260 260th St., was westbound on East Anson Street approaching the intersection with 18th Avenue when it collided with the rear of a transport van belonging to the West Marshall Community School District driven by Richard Clayton Taft, of State Center, which was stopped before the railroad tracks. No injuries were reported. Olsen was cited for failure to stop within a safe and assured clear distance. Damage to the Olsen pickup was estimated at $1,000 while the West Marshall van received an estimated $1,500 in damage.
On Nov. 26, a vehicle driven by Michelle Lee Lawthers, 614 Fremont St., was southbound on North Sixth Street when in reaction to a garage service employee in the roadway Lawthers swerved to avoid him and struck a legally parked car. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Lawthers vehicle was estimated at $3,000 while the legally parked car received an estimated $250 in damage.
On Nov. 21, a vehicle driven by Christopher Jerome Kapayou, of Tama, was backing up from a parking spot at Walmart, 2802 S. Center St., when it struck two children knocking them down who were walking behind to their vehicle. Both children from Conrad were transported to Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center with possible injuries.
On Monday, Noemi Del Carmen, 802 May St., reported damage to a driver side window on a Chevy S-10 pickup while parked at her residence and the theft of items from the arm rest compartment between the front seats. Estimated value of loss was $220.
On Monday, an employee with Kum & Go, 613 N. 3rd Ave., reported the theft of cash in the amount of $150.
On Sunday, Kimberly Carter, 532 N. 1st St. Apt. #2, reported the theft of a purse and contents. Estimated value of loss was $500.
On Monday, Marissa Ann McStockard, 424 Union St., was cited for theft-third degree-enhanced.
