Rodney Lee Cooper, of San Diego, Calif., made an initial appearance on an extradition request from the State of Missouri. A waiver hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Dec. 12. No bond was allowed in this case.
Kristy Ragsdale, 1111 W. Church St. Apt. #3, made an initial appearance on a operating while intoxicated-second offense charge. The public defender's office was appointed to handle her case. The preliminary hearing is set for 1 p.m. on Dec. 26. Ragsdale was released on her own recognizance. The court ordered that she obtain a substance abuse evaluation and submit the results to the court within 60 days.
Eric Lopez, 404 Thunderbird Dr., made an initial appearance on a operation without registration charge and a driving under suspension charge. He pleaded guilty to both charges. On the operation without registration the fine was $50 with a $17.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $127.50, due immediately. The fine on the driving under suspension charge was $250 with a $87.50 surcharge and $87 in court costs for a total of $424.50, due immediately. The court allowed on both charges $50 monthly installment payments beginning Jan. 4, 2013, until the debt is paid.
Lester Mwirichia, 106 College Dr. #1207, made an initial appearance on a possession of a Schedule I controlled substance-marijuana charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. The public defender's office was appointed to handle his cases. The preliminary hearing is set for 1 p.m. on Dec. 26. Mwirichia was released on his own recognizance. The court ordered that he obtain a substance abuse evaluation and submit the results to the court within 60 days.
Terri Lee Mould, of Hampton, made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for arraignment on a criminal mischief-fourth degree charge. Mould will represent herself in this matter. The arraignment hearing is set for 1 p.m. on Dec. 17. Bond will continue as posted until the conclusion of this case.
