DUBUQUE - The Marshalltown Community College women's basketball team collected a narrow victory, 53-51, over the Loras College junior varsity squad on Friday night to snap a brief two-game skid.
Latrice McMullen led the Tigers (3-4) with 12 points. Shantal Tobler added 10 points and Mackenzie Gott had eight.
MCC is back in action Sunday with a 1 p.m. game in Cedar Rapids against the Coe College JV.
