Police arrested a pair of alleged burglars Saturday.
Ashley Carrillo, 31, and Roby Meyer, 26, stand accused of stealing various items including purses, credit cards, checkbooks and a GPS from several cars in the past week, according to a Marshalltown Police Department press release issued late Saturday.
After investigating the string of car burglaries, police obtained a search warrant on Carrillo and Meyer's vehicle where police allegedly recovered much of the stolen property.
